AP Chambers of Commerce gets new Board in Vijayawada
Vijayawada: AP Chambers of Commerce and Industry Federation conducted an annual general body meeting and elected a new board unanimously recently. The new board president is KVS Prakasah Rao, general secretary Potluri Bhaskara Rao and executive director A Satyanaryana.
Addressing the media on Friday, Prakash Rao briefed about the role of the AP Chambers and said that AP Chambers has relentlessly pursued the agenda of identifying business opportunities and challenges, addressing critical issues with the single-minded focus of sustainable growth in the State.
AP Chambers has been instrumental in suggesting policy frameworks for conducive business environment. It plays as advocacy role on a wide range of matters and acts as an impetus to growth and development matters, he said.
Potluri Bhaskara Rao said that for the past four years, the federation has grown to a great extent. The federation represents on many issues like ease of doing business, tax reforms, statuary related issues.
The government should involve Chambers in policy framing, he said and added that AP Chambers organised First Consulate General Meet with nearly 25 Consulates at Vishakhapatnam to promote trade and industry, expose the investment opportunities in AP.
