AP CM Jagan calls for emergency meeting

Amaravati: As soon as he returned to AP from USA, chief minister YS Jagan Mohan Reddy called for an emergency meeting with CMO officials, and the officials from Water Resources, Energy, Law, Endowments, disaster management, police and others on Saturday. He returned to home at around 5am today and the meeting scheduled around 10.30 am.

Burning issues like setback to government in High Court on reverse tender of hydroelectric project on Polavaram, Polavaram Project Authority suggestion to stop reverse tendering on Polavaram main works, promoting Christianity at Hindu holy temple Tirumala Tirupati Devasthanam ar Tirupati, negative impact of renegotiation of Power purchasing Agreements, law and order issues, centre reaction on YSRCP MP V Vijayasai Reddy statement that the state government has taken issues after informing to Prime Minister Narendra Modi, and other important issues to be discussed in the meeting, sources informed.
