AP CM YS Jagan directs officials to help Elephantiasis disease victims in East Godavari

Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister YS Jagan Mohan Reddy on Monday called on officials at the CM's camp office to discuss the situation where Elephantiasis disease in the East Godavari district. Concerned about the recurrence of disease in agency areas, the CM directed the victims to be provided with proper medical care.

CM Jagan has urged the deputy chief minister and the health minister to immediately review the situation of victims. Similarly, the CM ordered the authorities to make a comprehensive plan to prevent the disease from recurring. CM Jagan has also ordered the dispatch of medical teams immediately.

On the other hand, CM Jagan has ordered the corporation to hand over Rs 100 crore to the corporation for the welfare of lawyers. It has been made clear to the authorities that the management of these funds should be entrusted to them.

The chief minister is hopeful that the government is already helping lawyers in the name of Law Nestam and will benefit more from the funds released by the government.
