AP creates a record in pension distribution to 54 lakh beneficiaries on Sunday

The Andhra Pradesh government has set a record by distributing pensions at home through volunteer system on Sunday. The distribution of pensions, which started before dawn, was completed in the afternoon. With the directives of Chief Minister YS Jagan Mohan Reddy, the distributing of pensions has been taken place for across 13 districts.

The preparations have been made for the distribution of pensions in remote areas as well. The government has taken all steps to avoid inconvenience as faced in the last month during pension distribution.

Village Volunteers were sent to be beneficiaries' homes and handed over to pension money. As many as 45.24 lakhs beneficiaries receive amount till afternoon. The government has distributed the last month's pension who haven't received.

Real-time data on the distribution of pensions and special cells have been set up in the districts and are monitored constantly.
