AP education department officials inspect 131 private schools which are charging high fees

The YSRCP government headed by chief minister Jagan Mohan Reddy has initiated action against private schools which are charging huge fees in the state of Andhra Pradesh. Authorities are inspecting 130 schools across the state under the auspices of the school's Education Control and Supervision Commission. However, with the YSRCP coming to power in AP has been a big boost for school education. As part of that, Amma Vodi scheme is being implemented, which aims to provide financial assistance to the mothers who send their wards to schools.

At the same time, private schools are charging high fees attracting the students and parents with the names Techno, e-Techno, Olympiad, IIT and JEE.

As part of this, the authorities have concentrated on private schools who are charging high fees. The officials are inspecting the details of fees charged in schools, facilities for students, qualifications of teachers, school buildings, and so on. With the introduction of the English medium in public schools in the state and the inspections on private schools have become a hot topic in the state.
