AP government extends Raithu Bharosa Scheme to tenant farmers

The Andhra Pradesh government has given good news to tenant farmers by including them in the YSR Raithu Bharosa Scheme. The GO regarding the tenant farmers applicable to the scheme has been issued.

The scheme will also be applicable to SC, ST, BC and minority farmers in the forest. It has issued directives to exclude current and former ministers, MPs, MLAs and MLCs from the scheme. The GO says the scheme applies to those whose children are working for the government. In case of death of a farmer, the farmer's family will be assisted with insurance.
