AP government released order over Grama volunteers recruitment

Amaravati: The AP government has issued the orders regarding the notification for the recruitment of the Grama volunteers post. The Grama volunteers notification will be released on 23 or 24 June.

The applications will be received till 5 July and scrutiny will be completed by 10 July. The interviews will be held from 11 to 25 July.

For the selected volunteers, the training will be provided between 5th to 10th August. From 15 August the postings will be given to the grama volunteers.

CM YS Jagan Mohan Reddy has decided that one grama volunteer will be appointed for every 50 houses. The government has also decided to give the responsibility of implementing Navaratnalu scheme to the grama volunteers.

The grama volunteers will be paid a salary of Rs 5,000 per month from the government. The aspiring candidates can visit the official website of APGV - http://gramavolunteer.ap.gov.in.

The age limit is 18- 35 years. The required education qualification is intermediate and for candidates in the tribal and agency areas is 10th class.
