According to the latest guidelines, it is decided to give one cent of the land to the poor in towns. Accordingly, the government's goal is to provide housing for 25 lakh poor people by the end of next year.

Due to the policy of giving one cent of land in the towns, there is a shortage of land hence govt decided to build apartments in the form of G + 3 (Ground Floor + 3 floors) and give the flats for poor.

This scheme applies to any family only once and those who want to get benefit by the scheme; they have to submit ration card and Aadhaar Card proof. Many people in AP live in public places illegally where 90 per cent of them are poor. The government will provide them with new places. In this regard, tahsildars are advised to furnish details of vacant lands in their areas to the government. The beneficiaries are advised to link their Aadhaar number and ration card details while giving away empty properties.

An additional Rs. 20 of this will be stamp paper, and the remaining Rs 10 will be for graduation. When it comes to the land, there is no permission to sell the lands for five years. The details of the landholders are in the ward and village secretariat.
