AP government to launch resurvey of lands across the state from today
The YSRCP government headed by chief minister YS Jagan Mohan Reddy is all set to launch a resurvey of lands across the state to discover the irregularities of the land registrations. The resurvey program will be initiated today in Krishna district.
The land survey registry launched by British 120 years ago is still followed today, which has now become irrelevant due to drastic changes and irregularities creating land disputes.
Against this backdrop, the Government is preparing for the conduction of resurvey to sort out the permanent solution for land disputes. The pilot project is being rolled out today in Jaggaiahpet Mandal of Krishna district. Deputy Chief Minister Pilli Subhash Chandra Bose will inaugurate the re-survey at Takkellapadu at Jaggaiahpet in Krishna district as a pilot project.
