AP government will provide 4.5Lakh jobs to youth: Kannababu

Kakinada: Agriculture Minister Kurasala Kannababu on Saturday said Chief Minister YS Jagan Mohan Reddy would create 4.50 Lakh jobs for unemployed youth.

Addressing a meeting held on the occastion of Dwarampudi Charitable Trust conducting a mega job mela at PR College premises here.

Kannababu said the State government had it made it mandatory for private companies to provide 75 per cent jobs to local youth.

Kakinada MP Vanga Geetha said it was a good opportunity for unemployed youth to find employment through job mela and the unemployed should take advantage of the opportunity.

District Collector D Muralidhar Reddy said that a total 33,000 jobs would be created in East Godavari district.

MLA Dwarampudi Chandrashekhar Reddy said the Chief Minister had provided 1.35 lakh jobs in village and ward Secretariats across the State.

He said that Vikasa (Koshal Godavari) organisation had provided employment to around 74,000 unemployed youth so far.

Vikasa Project Director K Lachha Rao, principle Chappidi Krishna, Dwarmapudi Charitable Trust Chairman D Veerabhadra Reddy and others participated in the programme.
