AP govt. directs officials to take Covid precautions ahead of second phase of schools reopening

AP schools reopening: It is knew that the schools and colleges have started in Andhra Pradesh from the 2nd of this month. With that, the authorities are arranging to start classes for other classes as well. In the wake of covid, the government has directed the authorities to take strong measures to prevent the spread of the virus in schools. Earlier, classes for 9th and 10th grades have already started while for grades 6th and 8th, the classes will start on 23rd of this month.

Educational institutions that were closed due to covid in AP have reopened. As a part of it, schools were started from November 2 for classes 9,10, Inter in the first phase. All precautions were taken to avoid getting infected with the virus and decided to start classes 6,7,8 from the 23rd of this month. Meanwhile, classes for grades 1,2,3,4,5 will start from December 14th. The government has made it clear that the same schedule applies to all public and private educational institutions in the state. However, a small percentage of students are attending classes 9,10 which have already started.

Parents are not interested in sending their children to school on the fear that students who go to schools will get infected with corona positive. Parents, however, are somewhat impatient with government policies. The argument is heard from parents of students that it would not be good to start classes till the vaccine arrives.
