Guntur: MP Galla Jayadev criticised that the government has failed to extend helping hand to the flood victims in the district and to cover the failure, it is planning to shift the state capital from Amaravati. Addressing a press meet held at the TDP state office here on Thursday, he criticised that the YSRCP government was implementing anti-people policies.

He demanded that Chief Minister YS Jaganmohan Reddy make clear his stand on the state capital whether he will continue state capital in Amaravati or shift to some other place. He reminded that the former Chief Minister N Chandrababu Naidu brought loans and started Amaravati construction.

However, the YSRCP government is creating hurdles for the construction of state capital Amaravati. He alleged that the government was not paying bills for the completed works executed during the TDP regime. He criticised that due to lack of proper management of floods, floodwater inundated Chandrababu Naidu's residence at Undavalli.
