AP Govt likely to cancel Degree and PG exams
Amaravati: As the Vice-Chancellors of various universities in the State expressed problems in conducting exams in the wake of COVID19 pandemic, the Higher Education department contemplating to issue orders cancelling the Degree and PG exams for the academic year 2019-20. These exams were supposed to be completed by March, but, as the government announced the early closure of colleges due to lockdown, the universities were unable to complete them. Some of the universities have already completed more than 80 percent exams, some just started.
After discussing the issue with chief minister YS Jagan Mohan Reddy by the Education Minister Adimulapu Suresh and concerned officers, the government will issue required orders, according to sources in the Higher Education department in secretariat.
