AP police association warns TDP over false allegations on police department

The Andhra Pradesh Police Officers union has seriously condemned the TDP leaders' criticism on the police over Macherla incidents. While TDP leaders have expressed their outrage over the issue, the police have alleged Bonda Uma and Buddha Venkanna for their false claims of police attacks on them at Macherla on March 12.

The police union have recalled that the way the DSP had rescued the TDP leaders while they were attacked. It is said that it is hurtful to blame the policemen who saved their lives. We have taken up the issue on attacks as duo moto and investigating the case despite victims had not filed the complaint. The police union warned TDP leaders of filing cases if they resort to such allegations hereafter.

Earlier, TDP leader Bonda Umamaheshwara Rao alleged that the Guntur police were acting like YSRCP activists. Speaking at a media conference held at the TDP Central office on Tuesday morning, he said he had been receiving threatening calls. "The government has defied all the systems and they do not trust the Guntur police, " Bonda Uma said.
