Nimmagadda sent clippings of the remarks made by Minister Nani to the Governor. In his letter, Nimmagadda said that Minister Kodali Nani was deliberately criticizing him while he was in consultation with the government and the authorities on the conduction of local elections.

Kodali Nani has been accused of provoking employees against the Election Commission. Nimmagadda Ramesh Kumar asked the Governor to take immediate action against Minister Kodali Nani in view of these matters. Nimmagadda's complaint against the minister became a sensation in the state. However, there is concern over how the governor will respond to the issue.

Minister Kodali Nani responded in his own style yesterday on the management of local body elections in Andhra Pradesh. He clarified that the government was not ready to hold Local Body Elections in the state. He also made harsh remarks against state election commissioner Nimmagadda Ramesh Kumar abusing him as shameless. The minister said government employees were not ready to take part in election duties due to the severity of covid-19. "Nimmagadda Ramesh Kumar has been criticized for not trusting the constitutional system and the state government," Kodali Nani opined.
