AP SSC 2020: Andhra Pradesh govt decides to cancel SSC examinations in the state
AP SSC 2020: In big breaking news, the Andhra Pradesh government has finally decided to cancel the SSC examinations in the state in the wake of the rising coronavirus cases in Andhra Pradesh day by day. In addition to the tenth class examinations, it has announced the cancellation of inter-supplementary exams as well, which were to be held in July.
The Minister of Education Adimulapu Suresh on Saturday announced the cancellation of the SSC examinations as a precautionary measure amid Coronavirus outbreak. The minister said the decision was made in view to the students health. He said students who failed in the intermediate shall be passed in this unprecedented times.
The decision was taken at the behest of Chief Minister YS Jagan Mohan Reddy. The neighbouring Telangana state also cancelled the SSC examinations. Earlier, the government has decided to hold the SSC examinations from July 8 decreasing number of papers to six. However, it is now clear, that the examinations are cancelled. The mode of results is yet to be decided by the government.
