YS Jagan participates in AP State Formation Day, receives police salute

AMARAVATI: On the occasion of State Formation Day, Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister YS Jagan Mohan Reddy participated in the celebrations. On Wednesday, he received a salute from the police at the CM's camp office, after which the national flag was hoisted.

He also paid tribute to the portraits of Telugu Thalli and the renowned figure Potti Sriramulu. Following this, the Chief Minister is scheduled to attend a program at the convention center.

Meanwhile, the state festival celebrations are being held in a grand manner throughout Andhra Pradesh. Collectors and Superintendents of Police (SPs) are actively participating in the programs held in various district centers since the morning.

The cultural programs showcasing the rich Telugu culture will be organised as part of the celebrations. Additionally, the state's formation day will be celebrated at AP Bhavan in Delhi.

Andhra Pradesh Arya Vaishya Welfare and Development Corporation Chairman Kuppam Prasad appealed to all Arya Vaishyas in AP to pay tribute to the idols and portraits of Potti Sri Ramulu on the occasion of Andhra State Formation Day on Wednesday. Arya Vaishya Sanghas, Vasavi Clubs, members of Potti Sri Ramulu Sanstha, and other Arya Vaishya affiliated organisations stated on Tuesday to participate in these celebrations.
