APIIC Vice-Chairman visits Kia Motors in Anantapur

Anantapur: Andhra Pradesh Industrial Infrastructure Corporation (APIIC) vice-chairman-cum-Managing Director Madi Reddy reviewed the progress of Industrial Parks in the district, at a meeting here on Saturday.

District Collector S Sathyanarayana and Joint Collector Dilly Rao who were present meeting enquired from Zonal Manager Gopi Krishna on the progress of the proposed Industrial Park at Dadaluru village in Kanaganapalle mandal. The zonal manager said that the land acquisition of 1,000 acres for the park is in progress.

The APIIC Vice-Chairman also reviewed the progress in land acquisition at Regatipalle village in Dharmavaram mandal for the Industrial Park in 405 acres. He also asked zonal manager and the district collector to ensure that the gram panchayat in Penukonda pass a resolution bringing Kia Motors Plant under the jurisdiction of Industrial Area Local Authority.

Madi Reddy also asked the zonal manager to appoint directors for the Authority for tax collection and for industrial plan approval. He also visited Industrial Parks at Tekulodu, Gudivalle and Ammavaripalle apart from the Kia ancillary units.

He also visited Kia Plant and interacted with Kia officials. He assured them of early completion of Road over Bridge near Kia Plant. Kia officials Kim and Jude Lee participated in discussions with the APIIC officials and the District Collector Sathyanarayana and Joint Collector Dilly Rao.
