Apollo gets permission to conduct Covid test in Vijayawada

Vijayawada: Apollo Diagnostics here is the first stand-alone private laboratory in the State to get permission from the government to conduct Covid test.

Apollo Diagnostics got the relevant permission on May 29 from Indian Council for Medical Research (ICMR). The lab is situated in Parmeshwara Complex, Venkateshwara Puram, Opp Manor Food Plaza in the city.

The lab has expert technicians and state-of-the-art diagnostic equipment are constantly guided by Apollo's 36-year legacy of excellence to ensure the accuracy and timeliness of test results. High quality diagnostics are imperative for better treatment and patient care. Apollo Diagnostics National Reference Lab has NABL and CAP Accreditation.

Those interested to get tested for Covid can visit the Laboratory at Vijayawada directly for getting tested at their home itself. Fees for those getting the test done at Laboratory will be Rs 2,900 as per the guidelines issued by the State government and charges for home collection will be additional to these charges.
