APSRTC Chittoor region to operate 414 buses from today

Tirupati: Responding to the growing demand, the APSRTC Chittoor region, has decided to increase the number of buses to be operated daily to 414 from Thursday.

Similarly, the ground booking points and also the reservation points have also been increased to 223 and 13 respectively for the convenience of commuters.

After the RTC resumed its bus services on May 21, so far about 3.44 lakh passengers availed the RTC services, which is gradually increasing day by day.

The RTC also resumed bus service to Tirumala with about 100 buses pressed into service for the sake of employees and also general public for darshan which is commencing from Thursday.
