APSSDC organises skill connect job fair

Ongole: The Andhra Pradesh State Skill Development Corporation (APSSDC) has organised a skill connect job fair in association with the Brilliant Computer Institute on Sunday. APSSDC district manager Shaik Meeravali, Brilliant Computer Education chairman Dr Shaik Nyamatulla Basha presided over the off campus drive organised at the Brilliant Computer Education at Anjaiah Road in which 12 companies participated.

The drive was held from 9 am to 2 pm. Meeravali briefing the media on the occasion said that the APSSDC was conducting the job fair at constituencies and asked the candidates to utilise the opportunity to settle in life. Nyamatulla Basha said that the candidates should reach greater heights by using the services by the APSSDC and wished them good luck.

The HR executives from Kalla Textiles, CMS, Sriram Life Insurance, Keerthi Medicals and other companies explained about their organisations, roles of the candidates, their career scope and offering emoluments to them before the start of the recruitment drive.

By the end, 87 candidates from 164 attended were selected for jobs and 15 others were shortlisted for the next round of interviews. The executive chairperson of Brilliant Computer Education, Dr Tahera and her staff, along with the APSSDC staff, participated in the programme.
