Arrangements in full swing for Devi Navaratrulu in Rajamahendravaram

Rajamahendravaram: Sri Devi Utsav Committee is making elaborate arrangements at Devi Chowk to conduct 87th annual Devi Navaratrulu on a grand scale. The committee began making arrangements for the setting up of pandals, installing lights and others.

Arches were arranged at the A P Paper Mills Road, Ganesh Chowk Road and Gokavaram bus stand road as usual and decorated them with colorful lighting and images of various Gods and Goddesses.

The pandals will be continued up to October 9 from September 29. Meanwhile, the committee arranged various cultural programmes, stage plays and playlets during the celestial fete. Goddess Durga Devi will be installed on September 29 night followed by Kalasa pooja on September 30 morning.
