Art of Living foundation opens meditation centre in Sri City

Tirupati: Art of Living (AOL) meditation centre was inaugurated in Sri City by Managing Director of Shriram Life Insurance and former president of AOL Tamil Nadu unit Akhila Srinivasan on Friday. Thanking the Sri City management for providing a spacious hall in the industrial city, she highlighted the importance of meditation to get rid of stress.

On the occasion, Sri City MD Ravindra Sannareddy said, ``Meditation centre of this kind will certainly enhance the ecosystem for a peaceful and harmonious living.'' He called upon the industrial units to actively support by way of sponsoring the executives for the yoga programmes. Expert on Art of living for corporate executives Smita explained the importance of yoga, meditation and taught a few breathing techniques.
