Arul Thomas enters High Range Book of World Records

Vijayawada: Minister for Woman and Child Welfare T Vanitha and Central MLA Malladi Vishnu awarded Archbishop Arul Thomas with High Range Book of World Record for writing, composing and singing about two thousand spiritual songs. The award was presented to Thomas in the presence of High Range organisation representatives Suman and Srikanth at a programme here on Thursday.

Minister Vanitha said that it was an unusual feat of writing, composing and singing Christian spiritual songs and congratulated Thomas on the occasion. Speaking on the occasion, Arul Thomas said that he was trying for a Guinness Book of World record by singing four thousand songs by the year-end. He said that the earlier record was 3,500 songs which he would surpass.

The organisers said that this award was also being given to cricketer Virat Kohli, social activist Anna Hazare, tennis player Sania Mirza and cricket player Maithili Raj. They congratulated Thomas for achieving this rare feat.
