Asha workers demand pending wages

Visakhapatnam: Asha workers union, affiliated to CITU, has demanded payment of wages dues immediately. On Saturday, P Mani, honorary president of the union (Greater Visakha Committee), said wages were not paid for the workers for the past six months.
Though a memorandum was submitted to Chief Minister Y S Jaganmohan Reddy on June 4, no action was taken till date, she lamented. Also, the union demanded immediate issue of the GO on the enhanced wages to Asha workers.
