It was discussed in the Cabinet that the Session should be completed as short as possible, in view of the fear of the already widespread COVID19 pandemic. In fact, the Budget session, which was supposed to be completed by March 21, did not take place thanks to the Coronavirus. It is known that the government promulgated an Ordinance for spending money, as it could not present in the Assembly. Now, the session will be commenced on Tuesday with the Governor's address to both the Houses including Assembly and Council.

After the Governor's address, the Finance Minister Buggana Rajendranath Reddy will present the budget on Wednesday, along with the Socio-Economic Survey report. There will be a discussion on the Budget proposals on June 17 and 18. Then the Assembly will not be conducted on June 19, as the MLAs have to participate in the Rajya Sabha biennial elections. After that, the Assembly will continue for two or three working days for the debates on the budget demands, according to the sources in the Secretariat.
