BAC meeting decision: AP Assembly budget sessions to be held for 14 days

Amaravati: AP Assembly Budget session will be held from Thursday (11 July) to 30 July. In the BAC meeting that happened today, the decision was taken to conduct 14 days of Assembly sessions.

Speaker Tammineni Sitaram chaired the BAC meeting. Chief Minister YS Jagan Mohan Reddy, Minister Buggana Rajendranath Reddy, Chief Whip Srikanth Reddy, TDLP deputy leader Atchannaidu and Nimmala Rama Naidu have attended the meeting.

The Assembly declared as a holiday on Saturday and Sunday. The Opposition party has requested a debate on drought situation on Thursday, for which the government has agreed.

On 12 July (Friday) the Finance Minister Buggana Rajendranath Reddy will introduce Budget 2019-20. On the same day, Minister Kannababu will present the Agriculture Budget.
