YSRCP state general secretary Sajjala Ramakrishna Reddy said the Badvel by-election would be taken seriously. Speaking to media on Tuesday, he said Venkata Subbaiah's wife Sudha was already been declared as a candidate in the Badvel by - election. It is our tradition to give a ticket‌ from the family of the deceased person. It is customary for those who remain sympathetic not to compete in the elections.

He said they would take the election seriously if there is a competition. "Nandyal's election has no comparison to this election. In the Nandyal by-election, Chandrababu took it as a general election and spent up to Rs 100 crore," Sajjala alleged. He said those results came from fears that the schemes would stall.

However, this election is an opportunity to tell what our government has done so in the last two years, he said. Sajjala said the majority may come more than what has come in the past.

The Central Election Commission (CEC) on Tuesday released the schedule for by-elections for Badvel in Andhra Pradesh and Huzurabad in Telangana. The Central Election Commission (CEC) has announced that by-elections for the two constituencies will be held on October 30 and counting will take place on November 2. To this end, the Central Election Commission has officially released the schedule.
