Balineni Srinivasa Reddy lays foundation for UG Electricity Cable System

Ongole: Minister for Energy, Environment, Forests, Science, and Technology Balineni Srinivasa Reddy announced that the State government was planning to establish a 10000 MW solar electricity plant in the state with Rs 36000 investment. He laid the foundation for the 132KV underground electricity cable system with a budget of Rs 56.74 crores at the 132 KV sub-station in Kurnool road along with the ministers Muthemsetty Srinivasa Rao and Dr Adimulapu Suresh on Sunday.

Balineni Srinivasa Reddy announced that the AP Trans Co is working hard to provide quality electricity continuously to the public. He said that as the high tension wires passing through the town are causing great difficulty to the public, the government wants to remove them permanently and lay underground cable system with about Rs 56 crores.

He assured that the UG cable system will be completed in the coming four months. He said that the government would allocate the 10000 MW solar power unit to the district in the second phase and assured that the government would not increase the electricity charges at any cost.
