Best Police stations in Country: AP couldn't find the place in top 10

The central home ministry has released a list of the ten best police stations in the country. The Choppadandi Police Station from Telanagana finds a place in the top ten. According to the Union Home Ministry's list, not a single police station has been selected from Andhra Pradesh. The central home ministry conducted a survey based on all 19 items. There are 15,579 police stations in the country. However, three police stations from each state were selected for the study. Around 750 police stations were selected, mainly from small-town police stations, the survey collected data from a total of 5461 people. At least 60 people shared their views about each police station.

The survey held based on various categories such as facilities at the police station, what kind of cases are being dealt with, how are land disputes resolved, how are cases against women taken up, how police are dealing? The response rate was 80 per cent, while the remaining 20 per cent was based on accommodations and etiquette the police are following.
