Bharat Bandh started in Prakasam with demonstrations before sunrise

AIKSCC, AIAWU, AIKS and other units of Prakasam district protesting at Ongole RTC depot as part of Bharat Bandh on Tuesday morning

Ongole: The Bharat Bandh program, called in support of the farmers agitating at Delhi, against the three agriculture laws, started in Prakasam district with demonstrations on Tuesday.

The local units of All India Kisan Sangharsh Coordination Committee, All India Agriculture Workers Union, All India Kisan Sangh, in support of the left parties organized protests at the Ongole, Chirala, Markapuram and other bus deports in the district from 04.00 AM blocking the movement of RTC buses. They later played kabaddi and other games in the bus station compounds and demanded the government to repeal the three laws immediately and requested the public to extend their support to the farmers' agitation.

Chunduri Rangarao, AIKSCC Prakasam district coordinator announced that the farmers would conduct a rally in the Ongole town from 10.00 AM along with the workers of left parties, farmers and farm workers organizations, and other parties supporting the movement of the farmers and their demands.
