Bhumana Karunakar Reddy meets YS Jagan ahead of taking charge as TTD chairman

 Tirupati MLA Bhumana Karunakar Reddy, the newly appointed chairman of Tirumala Tirupati Devasthanam (TTD), met with Chief Minister YS Jagan at the CM's camp office on Wednesday. During the meeting, he expressed gratitude to the CM for giving the opportunity to serve as TTD Chairman. Bhumana is scheduled to assume his duties as TTD Chairman in Tirumala tomorrow morning.

Previously, Bhumana served as the Chairman of TUDA (Tirupati Urban Development Authority) from 2004 to 2006 during the YS Rajasekhara Reddy government. He also served as the Chairman of the TTD Board from 2006 to 2008 and was known for his efficient work during that time.

Bhumana Karunakar Reddy, who had a close association with the late Chief Minister YS Rajasekhara Reddy, was born on April 5, 1958, in Nandalur Mandal, YSR Kadapa District. He holds an MA degree from SV University, Tirupati.

The tenure of YV Subba Reddy as the TTD chairman along with the members ended on Tuesday. The new chairman will take charge on Thursday.
