Big boost to super speciality hospital in Anantapur

Anantapur: The state government earmarked Rs.30 crores for the infrastructure development for the Super Speciality Hospital. It has also announced Rs.1,500 crores for all teaching hospitals in the state, which means that the local teaching hospital will also get its share for the Super Speciality Hospital.

The Anantapur Super Speciality share becomes Rs. 137 crores. The budgetary allocation for the super speciality hospital will boost infrastructure facilities in the newly coming up buildings for the hospital. The boost in infrastructure will contribute to an increase of 100 to 150 more college seats. The hospital will also get Rs. 133 crores under the Arogya Sri scheme.
