BJP blames YSRCP for nominating outsiders in TTD board
Amaravati: The BJP blamed the YSRCP government that it made the TTD Board as a rehabilitation centre for politicians and industrialists.
Where is 50% reservation for Hindu SCs, BCs in the newly formed TTD board, questioned the BJP leader Lanka Dinakar in a press release on Thursday. He further pointed out at Chief Minister YS Jagan Mohan Reddy by stating that the YSRCP government has ignored 50 per cent reservation to the women devotees in the board. He maintained that this government itself made the rules and violated them in this regard.
Dinakar blamed that the State government did not give priority to the locals in the nominated posts, with respect to the TTD board. He said that the state government enacted legislation mandating all the companies to offer 75 per cent reservations to the locals.
But, when comes to the TTD Board, Jagan ignored this logic in applying to the nominated posts, conveniently, Dinakar blamed. He said that out of nominated 25 Members of the board, only 8 members had nominated from AP, 7 from Telangana and rest from various states.
He questioned, "Are there no adequate devotees eligible to nominate from AP or CM has no idea on it?". He blamed that it was an intentional act of the YSRCP government with a motive to allow outsiders into the board.
