BJP demands arrest of accused in Data theft case blames inefficiency of Jagan
Amaravati: , by blaming that it failed in many areas including establishing the alleged corruption of the previous government headed by TDP president N Chandrababu Naidu.
It blamed that despite having a huge mandate, Jagan getting fear within six months and opened the doors for TDP leaders into YSRCP. "If Jagan has confidence on him and his governance, he would not resort to such cheap politics", said the BJP state president Kanna Lakshminarayana.
He also asked Jagan to reveal the progress in the data theft case lodged against TDP.
In his open letter, Kanna stated that "The data of voters of nearly 7.8 cr, which include personal sensitive data of AP people, such as Aadhar, electoral role, government schemes and others were allegedly theft". He said that the UIDAI also complained about it. He added that the case was pending against the IT Grids India Pvt Ltd.
The Chief of the firm, D Ashok was not yet arrested by the state government.
He questioned, "Why the state government is complacent and lenient towards a culprit, whose company has stolen the sensitive personal data of crores of people of AP".
Kanna demanded that the government should immediately arrest the accused persons and follow up the case soa s to give confidence to the people and voters. He urged to ensure the safety of personal data of public.
