Tirupati: BJP demands white paper on purchase of ambulances

Tirupati: BJP state vice-president Vishnuvardhan Reddy demanded a white paper on the purchase of the ambulance vehicles by the state government.

Speaking to the media here on Thursday, the BJP leader who is also Nehru Yuva Kendra vice president said that if the government is sincere in proving that there is no corruption in the purchase of the 1088 ambulances including 108 services and 104 services, it should bring out a white paper on the purchase, but should not hit back the opposition TDP.

He thanked prime minister Narendra Modi for extending free supply of PDS rice up to November to ensure food security, benefitting about 80 crore people in the country.

Interestingly, all the BJP leaders present in the media conference including Vishnuvardhan Reddy were found without masks. BJP Tirupati Parliament constituency president K Dayakar Reddy, Chittoor district president B Chandra Reddy, party state secretary G Bhanuprakash Reddy and others were present.
