BJP describes YSRCP's 100 days rule as a period of chaos

Vijayawada: BJP MLC PVN Madhav described the YSR Congress government's 100 days rule as a period of chaos. Speaking to mediapersons here on Wednesday, Madhav said that there is confusion on various important issues in the State.

He said the Centre was extending full cooperation for the completion of the multipurpose Polavaram Project and the State government should take the responsibility of completing the project as early as possible. Reacting on the reverse tendering system, Madhav criticised the State government for taking a unilateral decision of cancellation of Polavaram tenders.

Various development works were halted midway due to the attitude of the YSRCP government. The State government should have discussed various issues with the Centre. Thousands of construction workers also lost their livelihood also, he lamented. The BJP MLC also alleged that the previous TDP government was involved in rampant corruption.

The State government could have ordered CBI inquiry into the irregularities in the construction works of Polavaram, Amaravati capital and other works. The Centre would have extended support in this regard, he said. BJP national secretary and AP co-in-charge Sunil V Deodhar criticised the State government for taking a decision towards paying Rs 5,000 to pastors as monthly honorarium.

He wondered as to how the public money would be spent on one particular religion. He criticised Chief Minister Y S Jagan Mohan Reddy for making faulty decisions. He tweeted in this regard in his Twitter account.
