BJP MP candidate Perla Sambamurthy promises to improve cashew industry
Srikakulam: BJP led government at the Centre provided Rs 3 lakh crore aid to AP which is more than the Special Category Status (SCS), said BJP Srikakulam MP candidate Perla Sambamurthy.
Starting his election campaign in Srikakulam city on Saturday, he said with demonetisation of higher currency notes, the number of tax payers has improved to 3 crore against two crore payers.
Earlier, it was only 70 lakh taxpayers only, he elaborated and added fake currency circulation from adjacent nations curbed with the courageous decision of Prime Minister Narendra Modi.
The MP candidate assured to improve cashew industry in Palasa and promised to develop salt lands at Noupada in Srikakulam district.
He also stressed on usage of mechanised boats for fish hunting to arrest migrations. He said that BJP will emerge as key player in the coming elections.
Sambamurthy said that he would file his nomination on Monday.
