BJP promises Central funds for flyover

Vijayawada: BJP Vijayawada West assembly candidate Piyush Desai started his election campaign in an innovative way with drum beats here on Tuesday. He promised that efforts would be made for the renovation of the Hindu cremation ground in the constituency once he was elected as MLA.

Interacting with the voters in the 33rd division, he asked the voters to give him a chance to develop the constituency and distributed the party manifesto. "The Kanaka Durga flyover will be completed soon with the central funds. I will ensure the usage of central funds without any corruption," he said.

He covered Kummaripalem Centre, Nalugu Stambala Centre and Appalaswamy Quarry Centre as part of campaign. "I will also build a hostel for north Indian youth who have come in good number to settle in the constituency to pursue both business and education," he promised.

He said efforts would be made for the development of the new Gosala. In the campaign, BJP district president A Sriram, West constituency convener Vinod Jain, corporator Uttam Bandari, State executive members and several senior leaders took part.
