BJP slams CM for opening doors to TDP leaders: Kanna Lakshminarayana

Amaravati: The BJP has accused Chief Minister YS Jagan Mohan Reddy of failing on many fronts, including establishing the alleged corruption of the previous government headed by TDP president N Chandrababu Naidu.

It said Jagan Mohan Reddy within six months of coming to power opened the doors for TDP leaders into YSRCP. "If Jagan Mohan Reddy has confidence in his governance, he would not have resorted to such cheap tactics," said the BJP State president Kanna Lakshminarayana.

He also urged the Chief Minister to reveal the progress in the data theft case lodged against a company. In his open letter, Lakshminarayana stated that, "The data of voters of nearly 7.8 crore, which included personal sensitive data of AP people, such as Aadhaar, electoral roles, government schemes and others, were allegedly stolen."

He said the UIDAI also made a complaintto this effect. He added that the case was pending against the IT Grids India Pvt Ltd.The Chief said he was firm, but D Ashok was not yet arrested by the State government.

He questioned as to why the State government was showing lenience to the culprit. He demanded that the government immediately arrest the accused. He urged the government to ensure the safety of personal data of people.
