BJP slams wrong policies of govt, demands free sand
Vijayawada: Lambasting the YSRCP government in the state for pursuing wrong policies, Nehru Yuva Kendra vice-chairman and BJP state vice-president S Vishnuvardhan Reddy demanded supply of sand free of cost as several lakhs of building workers were facing hardships due to lack of work.
Speaking to reporters here on Tuesday, Vishnuvardhan Reddy also said that the state was in a deep financial crisis not in a position even to pay salaries of the employees for the next month.
He criticised that the state government had also failed to make use of Centre's cooperation. "The state government has not taken a single project to generate financial resources.
It is only whiling away time with temporary measures. It has failed to fulfil its promise of paying Rs 12,500 for farmers under Rythu Bharosa. We have seen many governments unable to survive with this kind faulty administration," he said.
The BJP leader also wondered as to how the state government could appoint such a huge number of advisors with crores of rupees as emoluments when the state's financial position is in a bad condition. He asked the state government as to why it could not prove the corruption of the TDP as alleged by the YSRCP in the past.
He demanded the government to ban Ramgopal Varma's new movie and also expel him from the two states. He said that the film director was trying to get benefit by provoking the caste disputes. He said that they would welcome MLA Vallabhaneni Vamsi, if he joins BJP. BJYM national member Veeramachineni Chaitanya was also present.
