BJP vows to fight against corruption in AP
Tirupati: BJP State unit president Somu Veerraju set the tone for the party's state executive council meeting held in Tirupati on Saturday by talking loud against the corruption in the governance in AP.
He said that from MLA level to CM at every stage corruption occupies a pivotal role in governance. He termed it as trading and not ruling that was going on in the state.
Saying that BJP is a party of all sections, Veerraju made it clear that they will build a people's agitation against the corruption from the grassroots level.
He flayed the attacks on Hindu mandirs, temples and properties and said that no case was filed till today against those indulged in burning the 70-year-old chariot in Antarvedi. The state government also tried to sell out valuable properties belonging to TTD at various places but laid a back step only because of BJP's fight against the move.
He said that Rayalaseema should get its assured water. This region is as important as Polavaram and state capital. The CM has become the double stickered leader who has been pasting his stickers to all central government schemes. The executive will chalk out the action plan for its fight against the state government, he stated.
Party national vice president Raman Singh address the meeting through video conferencing. He said that Congress party has been cheating the farmers for the last 70 years and practising the same strategy now regarding the three farm bills. These bills will in no way affect the minimum support price for the produce and will only doubl their incomes.
Party state affairs in-charge and union minister V Muralidharan, GVL Narasimha Rao, Satya Kumar, TG Venkatesh, PVN Madhav, G Bhanuprakash Reddy, S Srinivas, B Chandra Reddy and other leaders taking part in the council meet.
