BJP will marginalise regional parties in next polls: Former MLA Varadapuram Suryanarayana
Anantapur: BJP leader and former MLA Varadapuram Suryanarayana hoped that BJP will sweep in next Lok Sabha elections in both north and south India.
During an informal talk with media persons at his residence here on Friday, Suryanarayana said that simultaneous elections to Lok Sabha and State Assemblies will benefit BJP. He predicted that the BJP wave will wipe out many regional parties. The strategy adopted by BJP in Maharashtra is to marginalise Shiva Sena there, he said. BJP's strategy is to win in the states like Telangana and AP also.
BJP will come to power at the Centre and in most of the states after the next elections, the BJP leader stated with confidence. He also predicted surprise developments in state in next couple of years. Prime Minister Narendra Modi wave has come to stay. In the 2024 Lok Sabha elections, Congress and other parties will be wiped out, he added.
