BJP, YSRCP governments exploiting the people in the name of "smart "

Tirupati: The AP Citizens Associations Federation and CPM state leader Y Venkateswar Rao alleged that "BJP led Union Government and YSRCP led State Government are exploiting the people in the name of smart city increasing the property tax and introducing the user charges for civic services in urban local bodies. Addressing a convention over property tax issues, the state government decided to collect abnormal property taxes from building owners in all the ulbs in the state".

He urged the people to come forward to fight against the anti peoples policies. Governments are not considering the citizens issues in municipalities and corporations. Moreover they are readying to collect multiple user charges for collecting garbage, and water supply as well as sanitation maintenance.

In view of all the citizens associations should come under one umbrella to fight unitedly, he stressed.

In the meeting Tirupati Chamber of commerce President Manjunath , CPM city secretary Subramanyam, TTD staff and united workers front honorary president G Venkatesh were present.
