BJYM activists hold protests for EBC quota in Guntur

Guntur: Bharatiya Janata Yuva Morcha activists on Friday protested at the Collectorate to mount pressure on the State government to implement the reservations for Economically Backward Castes immediately and honour the orders of the Centre.

In response to the call given by the BJ state Yuva Morcha unit, party leaders protested at collectorate cross the state. As a part of this programme, BJYM leaders also held protest demonstrations in Guntur city.

Addressing the gathering, BJYM district president Kokkera Srinivasa Rao said if the EBC reservations were implemented EBC would get benefits and they would get jobs.

Furthermore, he said that the government has failed to conduct the test to fill the secretariat posts properly.

He reminded that those who typed the question paper got the first rank. He said, it was a big shame for the government. Later, they submitted a memorandum to the Revenue Department officials in the Collectorate. BJP Guntur urban president Ammisetty Anjaneyulu, Guntur (rural) district president Nallabotu Venkata Rao were among those present.
