BlitzKrieg-2019 contest on Sept 17 in Vijayawada

Vijayawada: A one-day cultural competition 'BlitzKrieg-2019' will be organised by the Computer Science Department of PB Siddhartha College of Arts and Science on September 17, said college principal Dr M Ramesh here on Friday. A poster was released in this regard.

Addressing the media, he said that the programme has been conducted continuously since the year 2006 by the Computer Science Association, thereby, enhancing students' technical and managerial skills.

College Dean Prof Rajesh C Jampala, said that the German word 'BlitzKrieg' means lightning attack and this programme was a platform for computer science students to compete with others in their technical and cultural skills.

Programme coordinator Kavuri Sridhar said that the programme includes nine topics such as technical paper presentation, poster presentation, computer quiz, coding and decoding, making beautiful and useful materials from electronic waste, spot painting, spot photography, Mr and Miss BlitzKrieg. Head of the Computer Science Department Dr Ravikiran also spoke.
