Satyanarayana observed that Chandrababu Naidu's relative was given a huge chunk of land at a throwaway price and the same land was merged in Capital Region for escalating its cost. This is one example for insider trading that took place during previous TDP government.

The Minister revealed that Chandrababu Naidu gave the land of around 493 acres to his relative MSP Rama Rao at Jayantipuram village at Jaggayyapeta Mandal in Krishna district. Rama Rao's son Sribharat married Nandamuri Tejaswini, who is the daughter of Nandamuri Balakrishna.

"Government gave 493 acres for VBC company, which is owned by Rama Rao. The land disposed to the company through APIIC at the throwaway price of Rs 1 lakh per acre. Then government merged the area in the CRDA, through GO MS No 207 dated September 22, 2015", Satyanarayana informed.

Jitin Kumar, who is the cousin of Y Sujana Chowdary got land of 110 acres at Gudimetla village, Chandarlapadu Mandal. He is the director of Kalinga Greentech company, which owned the land. This is one out of 120 companies of Sujana Chowdary, the minister added. Sujana Chowdary's nephew Yalamanchili Rishi Kanya also holds 14 acres at Govindaraju palm, Veerulapadu Mandal.

The minister maintained that all these land allocations to the thin and thick relatives of the Chandrababu Naidu and his followers, around the capital city were nothing but a quid pro quo.

Responding to the challenge of Sujana Chowdary, the minister revealed the properties of the relatives of the BJP leader. The MP earlier said that he has no lands in Amaravati capital area neither on his name or in the name of any family members or relatives.

Minister said that these examples are the mere tip of the iceberg. He added that the irregularities and corrupt practices will be exposed by the present government.

The minister assured the farmers of Amaravati region that the government has released annuity to be paid to them to the tune of Rs 187.40 crores. The farmers in the region had given their lands to the government for capital construction. The then government started a scheme of paying an annuity to them until they would be given developed houses. There were some apprehensions whether the YSRCP government will continue to pay that annuity. Clearing doubts on that; the minister said that the annuity is released today.

When asked whether the government will continue the capital here at Amaravati, he skipped the question without giving a proper answer.
