Brace up for distribution of house sites on July 8: CM YS Jagan to officials
Amaravti: Chief Minister Y S Jagan Mohan Reddy instructed the officials to brace up for the distribution of over 29 lakh houses on July 8 and the keep adequate stock of sand to meet the monsoon demand and reiterated that he will tour the villages once the pandemic ebbs.
During the video conference as part of the Spandana programme here on Tuesday, the Chief Minister said, while reviewing various subjects, said that all measures like land acquisition, possession, development of plots should be expedited and the officials should begin the lottery process as distribution of over 29 lakh houses is a major programme being undertaken by the government.
The Chief Minster instructed the officials to store 70 lakh tonne sand to meet the monsoon demand. The officials said that they have stored 46.30 lakh tonne as of now.
Under Naadu-Nedu, 55,000 Anganwadis should be revamped. Repairs should be taken up where there are own buildings and new ones should be constructed where there are no own buildings.
YSR Health Clinics will be coming up as urban clinics with two km separating each one and should take about 15 minutes waking time. Land should be identified for these clinics, the Chief Minister said.
The Recognition of Forest Rights (RoFR) pattas should be distributed on August 9 coinciding with the Adivasi Diwas. Tribals should be provided with a good standard of living, he said.
The Chief Miniser said Rythu Bharosa Kendras should be functioning with full force as the government had allotted a joint collector to look after the work in the 10,641 RBKs and 65 RBK hubs to deliver quality agriculture inputs to farmers within 48 hours of the order.
As the government policy is to establish one teaching hospital in each of the Parliament constituencies, land should be identified for same as the State would be building 16 medical colleges in addition to the existing 11 colleges.
Ministers Peddireddy Ramachandra Reddy, Audimulapu Suresh, chief secretary Nilam Sawhney, DGP D Gautam Sawang and other officials were present at the conference.
