Coronavirus in Andhra Pradesh: Coronavirus epidemic is fast spreading in Andhra Pradesh from the past week. The rise in the number of cases is attributed to increase in the conduction of tests. In the latest development, the state has reported 71 new positive cases in the last 24 hours taking the tally to 1403.

The Union Home Ministry stated on Wednesday that fresh guidelines with regard to the coronavirus outbreak in the country and the ongoing lockdown will be issued extending relaxations to several states from May 4. Read full story 

Air India estimates partial services likely to resume by mid-May: Report

Air India may partially re-open services by mid-May after the lockdown is lifted. An internal email, accessed by news agency ANI, has asked pilots and cabin crew to prepare for operations after the lockdown. The email said there is a probability that 25 to 30 per cent operations will resume post lockdown in mid-May and sought details on availability from staff. 

Veteran Bollywood actor Rishi Kapoor breathed his last today, at the age of 67. The popular actor had been unwell for a while and was admitted to a hospital in Mumbai.
