[Breaking]: TDP MLA Atchannaidu tests positive for coronavirus

Former minister and TDP MLA Achannaidu has been tested positive for coronavirus. Achannaidu who is in judicial remand in ESI scam case is being treated at the local Ramesh Hospital in Guntur. The doctors have been conducting coronavirus tests on Achannaidu since yesterday morning as he was suffering from coronavirus, which appeared to be positive. Meanwhile, the doctors decided to write a letter to the High Court over him being tested for coronavirus and health condition.

It is a known fact that hospital groups give bulletins to the High Court every week on minor health conditions while the doctors at Ramesh Hospital are currently providing coronavirus treatment to Atchannaidu. TDP MLA Achennaidu's family, fans, activists and followers are concerned over his health.

On the other hand, coronavirus epidemic continues to rise in Andhra Pradesh with increasing cases. During the last 24 hours, 55,692 people were tested for coronavirus and 9996 persons tested positive which brings the total number of coronavirus cases across the state to 2,64,142. While in the past 24 hours alone, 82 people have died from coronavirus taking the death toll 2378. With a total of 2,64,142 positive cases in the state, 1,70,924 have been discharged and 90,840 are currently being treated at various hospitals.
